Hello, friends! I am currently a senior nursing student at the University of Texas at Tyler and will be graduating this December with my bachelor’s degree in Nursing. My ultimate goal is to be a NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) nurse.
I had never been to summer camp until working at LWR for the first time last year, so this will be my second summer at camp.
My hobbies include singing, discovering new Christian music, cooking, baking, staying active, learning new languages, and hand-lettering in my journal.
Isaiah 26:3-4 is my favorite verse, which says “You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for in You, the Lord, is everlasting strength.” Without that peace, I would not have stayed sane in nursing school.
A unique fact about me is that I hope to speak Tagalog, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, and Italian fluently one day.
